8 Random Facts About Me

Facts Francis of Caught In The Stream and Bobby of Revellian.com have tagged me to participate in the ‘8 Random Facts’ meme. I remember this meme making the rounds about 2 months back and thought it was one of the more interesting ones. For those unfamiliar with this meme, the title says it all. Bloggers who are tagged(and decide to participate) have to post 8 random facts about themselves.

Here are some facts about me:

I’m a sentimental dad - Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I’m always thinking of my 3 kids. Whenever I’m out, I miss them terribly and can’t wait to get home to be with them.
Blog Addict - I could spend the majority of my day visiting blogs. The variety of writing styles and personalities are unbelievably addicting. No doubt about it, blogging is habit-forming.
My daughter kicks my butt - My youngest is 2 years old and the only girl. Even when I’m scolding her, all it takes is a smile from her and I stop. It’s not a case of ‘daddy’s little girl’, more like ‘little girl’s plaything’ haha.
Never thought I’d blog - I’ve been reading blogs for quite some time but I always thought that I wouldn’t be a blogger. I’ve only been blogging for four months but I know now that I won’t stop.
I love classic horror movies - I’m a great fan of the old horror movies with Christopher Lee and Lon Chaney. Salem’s Lot is also one of my favorites.
My family is composed of gamers - We’re all gamers. My wife, my 13 year old, my 5 year old, and my 2 year old daughter. My wife and I are regular Condition Zero players. My two sons play a lot of free online games(supervised of course) and my daughter is always on Nickjr.com.
Ex-NBA addict - The last time I was passionate about watching the NBA was when Jordan was still with the Bulls. Long time, I know. I still watch but now I’m just a casual observer .
Would like to sleep for 12 hours straight - Having 3 kids make long rest periods virtually impossible. Not that I’m complaining, but I feel like it would be great if I could sleep for half a day at least once a month .

Since this isn’t a new meme, I’m only going to tag 5 people who I think haven’t participated yet.

heheh its great to know stuff about your personal life Brown. There are a lot of things that we have in common. Like I love Michael Jordan. I love online gaming which includes Condition Zero as my favorite and I am a blog addict.

Lol very few people know this. But do you knw Christopher Lee acted as Mr.Jinnah in the movie Jinnah. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the founder of Pakistan.

I used to love the NBA as well. It’s just not the same anymore. I was once a huge Supersonics fan back when Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp played there. I even had a signed rookie card from Kemp which I sorta lost. Not like it would be worth anything now anyway

Oh yes, Christopher, Lon, and don’t forget Peter Cushing. Classics for sure. I also find myself renting old sci-fi flicks. Just saw one this evening, Earth vs. The Flying Saucers. In short, don’t get it. But some of those do have some charm.

My son loves Nicktropolis and all my kids favor watching TV shows on Disney.com.

What’s an “NBA”? Just kidding!! LOL Never been much of a sports fan, but I do know Michael Jordan.

You’re like my husband. Can’t get mad at his two girls, too, even if they’re 18 and almost-11 already. Dads are like that with daughters, I think.

Thank you BrownBaron for trackback/pingback comment and post. BUT -

This may sounds crazy but when I try to approve your trackback comment, your comment CRASH my Blog dashboard !!! I had to go back to phpmyadmin in MySQL database to unapprove to get my dashboard back.

I tried again see if it does again, sure enough your comment crashed my dashboard.

I have to solve the mystery here. Do you know what is causing this problem?
