Windows Home Server Release Candidate Available

Windows Home ServerMicrosoft’s Windows Home Server is now available for testing. A release candidate for the centralized home media server application can be downloaded from Microsoft’s Connect page. If you have an extra computer, you can test it out there. Interested testers will need a Live.com account, and will have to take a survey before they get to download Windows Home Server.

The Windows Home Server is designed to run on a Local Area Network and will make your files available to other computers in your home network. Using the Windows Home Server Console, you can define which accounts have permission to access files stored on the home server. You can also connect remotely to your home server to access your files.

If anyone decides to try this out, let me know how it goes.
