Halo 3 Countdown Starts
The countdown to the official release has begun. The multiplayer beta for Bungie Studio’s Halo 3 has ended leaving eager fans waiting for the game’s official release. Halo 3 is scheduled to be released on September 25. The beta had an impressive 820,000 unique participants with more than 12 million hours of online gameplay. More than 350TB of data from the beta was downloaded from Xbox Live.
Microsoft Game Studios corporate vice president, Shane Kim, said:
“Witnessing such a great reaction to a small portion of the game has been inspiring. It is a testament to the fervour and anticipation that surrounds Halo 3.
“We are confident that on 25 September Halo 3 will drive an unprecedented wave of new gamers to the Xbox 360 platform and Xbox Live.”

Microsoft is going out have a field day when Halo 3 releases officially.. I wont probably be getting one, considering the fact that I do not have an Xbox with me..

I am currently waiting for my Geforce 8600GT to arrive . Then i can try out Halo 2 . Hope they release Halo 3 for the PC earlier .
