ooVoo Rides The Chat Wagon
ooVoo is the latest addition to the world of free chat clients. One feature that should be popular with the chat crowd, is the video conference feature that lets users have video chats with up to 5 people all in one window. The application also gives users the ability to send video messages up to 1 minute long. You can leave video messages for friends who are offline too. Users can share files with one another while having a video chat.

Another feature that could be popular with bloggers is the ability to embed a contact button that displays your picture or avatar. Whenever somebody clicks your contact button, an ooVoo chat session will launch if they have the client installed.
The official launch is scheduled for next week but interested users can download the application from the site to try it out. Don’t worry, it’s free

I have no idea on what the limit for file sharing is. Don’t tell me you’ll get this for the file-sharing feature

I’m not sure of the relationship between ooVoo and the others, but I can tell you that ooVoo is like Skype PLUS multi-person chat. Wow. It’s fantastic. It’ll do 6 people. I tested it with four as you can see above. The video is better than the audio, but we had folks in 4 states (1 in Hawaii) so I’m not sure everyone had the best connection.
