This Mic’s A PC

Jeffrey Stephenson wanted a Shure 55 Unidyne microphone like the one Elvis used so he built his own. He didn’t build just a mic though. He made a Shure 55 Unidyne microphone pc case made from basswood and finished with aluminum paint. The case houses a VIA M10000 motherboard and a 40 gig IBM 2.5 inch hard drive. A real cast iron mic stand was used to prevent the case from toppling over.
