For those who need free tech support, be it for a malfunctioning computer, or a non-responding game console, this free service might be what you’re looking for. FixYa is a free service that will let you talk with self-proclaimed experts to help you out with your gadgets, game consoles, and even jewelry.
Users can either give or receive free gadget/computer advice by chatting with other members. How do you know if the person helping you knows what he’s talking about? FixYa has a member rating feature so you’ll want to look for members with a high rating to help with your problem. The service doesn’t have video chatting which would make everything easier.
Just keep in mind that while you could get quality advice from the service, there’s also a chance that the person you talk to is out of his league and make things worse.
