Jim Ross : "GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!"

Yeah, that's pretty insane. This card would definitely make my Chocolate the mp3 player I always wanted it to be.

And I wonder how much will they cost. Wouldn't your phone be laggy if you store too much of stuff? Some phones will.

Wow, just think of all the stuff you'd store on that thing...and then lose it! I mean the assumption is that you'll have all that backed up anyway, but it's only as good as the security you have on it.

Then again my phone's a cheapy one. I guess if I had the ability to store other things on it I might have the motivation to do so. That's why I'm keeping my eye on the smartphones. Because I still have a PDA (I know that's so 90s), but I primarily use it to store my contacts...all 3,300 of them. Plus my eWallet that stores all my logins and other confidential stuff. Merging the two (the phone and the PDA) is my goal, but there'd better be major security on that thing.

I've just ordered a 2gb card for my new mobile - which is 4x bigger than my previous mobile had which should make for much more mp3 and video space - plus it cost less than half of what the 512mb did at the time!

But 8gb? I currently have an iPod Mini which stores 4gb of music and am more than happy with that so far - a bit more integration work and I may be able to leave it at home!

@Mark:
3,300 contacts? You planning on running for mayor buddy? :mrgreen:
@Zath:
8 gig sounds nice but if it had a zero next to it ... 80 would have been better :mrgreen:
@Vincent:
I'd like a 1 terabyte hard drive. Although I wonder how long it would take to defrag that monster :lol:

@Brown Baron: hmm, you've given me something to think about. :wink: Honestly though, I think it's important to carry that information with me because I never know when it might come in handy.
