Second Life To Add Voice Feature
Linden Lab is getting ready to make the voice feature for its popular game ‘Second Life’ live on May 23. Users can test the beta version of the voice feature by going to the beta area of Second Life.
Early reports by users who have tested the voice feature claim that the signal is clean and clear. The surprising thing about the voice feature is that it’s three-dimensional. This means that you’ll hear the voice from the direction of where the user talking to you is. If he comes closer, the voice gets louder. If he moves away, the voice gets softer.
Of course it will probably be a little buggy when it’s launched. The only time I use my mic is when I’m talking to my teammates while playing condition zero.
