SpeedBit Releases Video Accelerator 2.0 Beta
SpeedBit Ltd. has recently released the beta version of their Video Accelerator. The app speeds up the downloading of online videos by opening a number of parallel connections between the user’s computer and the video site’s server. This means that the app will reduce buffering problems making videos stream faster and smoother. The included search feature allows users to look for onine videos from their desktop.
For now, Video Accelerator only works with YouTube, Metacafe, DailyMotion, and Grouper. Supports Windows XP. Vista users will have to wait for the final version. Works with all major browsers.
I hope the final version includes support for Joost.
