Mozilla Firefox Beta Tests eBay Add-on
Mozilla has been asking Firefox users to test a beta version of an add-on that lets users monitor their deals on eBay in real time. The beta test is currently being offered to Firefox users in Germany, the U.K., and France only.
The add-on is a sidebar app that synchronizes with eBay’s auction and commercial sites. It will display alerts as items change status, or as they are sold. The add-on uses Firefox’s antiphishing technology alongside eBay’s Account Guard feature. The final release is set for August.
I personally don’t use eBay but I can see how this could be a great add-on for those that do.

I’m a total ebay junky and can’t wait to see this add-on. I’m sure the extra traffic won’t bother ebay at all since it will likely increase bidding.

I think you’re right. This should make the bidding process faster.
