Firefox 3 Release Schedule Updated
According to the release calendar, alpha versions of the upcoming Firefox 3 browser will be released by Mozilla every month. This will be followed by the first beta which is scheduled to be released by the end of July. The complete list of features is a bit long and some features that would probably not be added were marked “at risk”. Here are some features that I found that might be of interest.
- Improve user control over undo close tab and session history
- Easier retrieval of files that a user has downloaded in the past
- Integrate download manager with third-party virus scanners and malware protection
- Save web pages as PDF documents
- Only let the user save the password after they know the login has succeeded
- Help documents should link to related Add-on categories on addons.mozilla.org
The complete list of features can be viewed here.
