Fake Progress Bar: Pretend You’re Working

If you ever get bored at the office and want to do something else without appearing to be just wasting time this little app is definitely for you. Fake Progress Bar will make it look like your computer is busy by displaying progress bars on your screen. You can customize the progress message, button, title, progress bar speed, and almost everything else. Now you can take a break and stare into space or get a drink while your computer is “busy”. The app is freeware.

Here’s a screen of the options menu:

LOL… A wonderful variation of “the boss button.” Unfortunately for my employees, they don’t do things that require progress bars.

A great little idea if you have little to do in your job, unfortunately I see real progress bars far too often, so don’t really need this one.

If only I could find a job with little work, so I could surf the net half the day! ;)

I agree. It’s better to be under-worked and overpaid.
