IBM Designs Browser For The Blind
IBM is almost ready to release a new web browser that will enable the visually impaired to enjoy and interact with multimedia content. Code named “A-Browser” or “Accessibility Browser”, it will help visually impaired web surfers access multimedia content by using keyboard shortcuts rather than using the mouse.
IBM has said that the web browser will be released later this year and that it will probably be free as an open source product.
