Xbox Live Comes To The PC

Microsoft’s Xbox Live multiplayer will be available for pc users come June. The first two games that will support this crossover service will be Shadowrun which will be available in June, and UNO which will come out for the pc later this year.

Now for the bad news:

  1. The cross-platform experience requires an Xbox Live Gold membership which costs $79.95 a year.
  2. The new service will only run on Windows Vista.

The membership cost might not be a big deal but it seems that Microsoft has found another way to entice/force people to upgrade to Vista.
