Adobe Launches Photoshop Lightroom

Photoshop LightroomAfter more than a year of being available as a free beta, Adobe finally ships Photoshop Lightroom version 1. Users who downloaded the beta 4.1 version will still be able to use it until it expires on February 28.

For those unfamiliar with this application, Photoshop Lightroom  works hand in hand with Adobe Photoshop to refine your images. Transfer images from your camera to Lightroom and rename them, organize folders, and add metadata. Make global adjustments to your images like changing the tone curves, color casts, balance, and exposure. You can then open individual images in Photoshop for further enhancements.
